Step 1 - Go to participating boutiques from September 5th - 13th to pick up a passport. (Your $5 donation will be credited when you buy your 9/14 finale event ticket.)
Step 2 - Visit each of the 15 participating boutiques to vote on one look from each of the independent designers. You'll rate each designer on creativity, originality and marketability. Go to StyleXplorers.com to preview all participating fashion designers.
Step 3 - Get your passport stamped at each boutique. Also enjoy shopping discounts and special promotions.
Step 4 - Attend the Passport to Style Fashion Show Finale at the NTC Promenade, Liberty Station, on Sunday, September 14th from 6:00 - 9:00pm. In addition to the scholarship awards, you will see the best in live art, music and fashion!
About Passport to Style
Passport to Style is a non-profit scholarship program developed by Fashion Group International, San Diego. The program gives emerging fashion designers an opportunity to showcase their work in local boutiques throughout central San Diego on September 5 - 13, 2008. In addition to gaining exposure and real-world experience, participants will also have an opportunity to earn thousands of dollars in scholarship money, thus allowing them to continue their education and further their career.
